Every Brazilian needs to have a nickname, mine is Bisnaga - a type of bread or baguette. Why? That’s a long story.

I’m a Global Creative Director, green card holder, passionate and strategic storyteller with over 20 years of experience. Collector of awards and friendships from around the world, and lucky enough to have been named the Top 4 most awarded Art Directors worldwide. Not bad for a piece of bread who went to film school in Cuba.

From São Paulo to Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles. I’ve collaborated with amazing talent and brought my passion and lateral thinking to each team, creating work that made a mark and influenced agency culture.

Since 2003, I’ve been committed to empowering my teams to shine and helping brands find their bravery and soul.

Personally, I can’t stand advertising that feels like advertising. Which is why for the past 15 years, I’ve refused to make it.

Over my career, I’ve been #blessed to call several great shops home, executing and directing campaigns and branded content for such clients as Midea, Mini Cooper, Budweiser, Burger King, Pepsi (pre-Kendall thing), Maserati, IL MAKIAGE, MTV, Comedy Central, Hanes and Rock The Vote to name a few.

I think being a rare, native New Yorker has fueled my eternal love for creative people coming together to unapologetically make cool shit. I’m also low-key obsessed with humans dressed as animals, Mcmansionhell.com and intermittently posting my cartoons on instagram @everythangsgreat
